So the big day is nearly upon us! Are you ready? Have you bought everything? Do you still have to go to the shops, one last time?
My question to you is, have you thought about breakfast for tomorrow morning?
It’s so easy to get caught up in the excitement of Christmas Day that we can forget about breakfast, and then wonder why we become overwhelmed mid morning with the stress of getting the dinner on. Low blood sugar levels are often the cause of Christmas Day tension, so make sure you don’t fall victim to this, by starting the day with a good breakfast.
Why not make things a little special by having scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on rye bread? Washed down with a little Buck’s fizz (for the Vitamin C of course!). Or gourmet porridge with sour dried cherries, chopped figs and walnuts with a sprinkling of cinnamon. Or good old fashioned poached eggs on toast, with a rasher of bacon on the side?
