It is heartening to read that new research shows how post-menopausal women can still lose weight.

It is a commonly held belief that weight gain, along with poor sleep, hot flushes and low mood, are inevitable once a woman’s periods have stopped. But this does not need to be the case at all.  In fact, approaching the menopause is an ideal time to really make sure that you are eating well and getting plenty of exercise. This is has been shown time and again to help relieve menopause symptoms and to control weight.
